Terms and Conditions for Vivid Imagination Cards and Collectibles Buylist Service
1. Introduction and Service Overview
Welcome to Vivid Imagination Cards and Collectibles buylist service. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our buylist service, including the submission, evaluation, and purchase of trading cards and collectible items. By submitting cards to our buylist service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
Our buylist service allows you to sell trading cards and collectible items to Vivid Imagination Cards and Collectibles. We purchase cards based on current market conditions and the specifications outlined in this agreement.
2. Card Submission Requirements
2.1 Card Condition and Sleeving
All cards submitted to our buylist service must be sleeved in penny sleeves at minimum. This requirement helps protect your cards during the evaluation process and ensures they arrive in the condition described.
2.2 Shipping and Packaging Standards
When submitting cards to our buylist service, you are responsible for shipping costs. Please follow these packaging requirements:
- All cards must be placed in penny sleeves
- Cards must be placed in a toploader or semi-rigid card holder for additional protection
- Cards must be shipped in the exact order they are listed on the buylist submission
- Use appropriate shipping materials to prevent damage during transit
- Consider using tracked shipping with signature confirmation for high-value submissions
- Cards must be shipped and received within 10 days of buylist submission
Failure to meet these shipping requirements may result in rejection of your submission, and you will be responsible for return shipping costs as outlined in Section 5.
2.3 Items Not Listed on Buylist
If you have items you wish to sell that are not currently listed on our buylist, please contact us at vividimaginationcards@gmail.com. We review inquiries about unlisted items and may be able to provide quotes or add items to our active buylist.
3. Grading Standards and Card Evaluation
All cards submitted to our buylist service will be evaluated using TCGPlayer Grading Standards. We recognize the following condition grades:
- NM (Near Mint): Cards with minimal wear, slight imperfections only visible upon close inspection
- LP (Lightly Played): Cards with minor wear from play, light surface wear or slight corner/edge wear
- MP (Moderately Played): Cards with visible wear from play, moderate creases, corner wear, or surface imperfections
- HP (Heavily Played): Cards with significant wear, heavy creasing, major corner or edge wear, or notable surface damage
- Damaged: Cards with severe damage that significantly impacts playability or appearance
Vivid Imagination Cards and Collectibles reserves the right to adjust grades based on factors including but not limited to: centering, print lines, surface wear, corner/edge damage, and overall eye appeal. The final grade determination by our evaluation team is binding.
4. Pricing and Price Holds
4.1 Price Fluctuation
Prices may change at any time. The buylist prices quoted are subject to market conditions and card availability. While we strive to maintain accurate pricing, market volatility may result in price adjustments without notice. Your submission to our buylist service does not guarantee a price hold unless explicitly confirmed in writing by Vivid Imagination Cards and Collectibles management.
4.2 Quote Validity
If a specific quote is requested before submission, please note that quote validity periods will be communicated separately. Without explicit written confirmation, assume quotes are valid only at the time of inquiry.
5. Rejection and Return Policy
5.1 Acceptance of Submissions
Not all submissions are guaranteed to be accepted. Cards may be rejected for various reasons including but not limited to: condition inconsistencies with submitted grades, failure to meet packaging requirements, or items no longer on our buylist.
5.2 Return of Rejected Cards
If your submission is rejected:
- Cards will be shipped back to you in exactly the same condition as they were received
- We will use standard shipping methods for return shipments
- Return shipping is provided at no cost to you if your submission met all required packaging and condition standards outlined in Section 2
5.3 Return Shipping Responsibility
If your submission does not meet the shipping requirements outlined in Section 2.2, you will be required to pay for return shipping costs. This includes submissions that fail to meet the following standards:
- Cards not properly sleeved in penny sleeves
- Cards not placed in toploaders or semi-rigid card holders
- Cards not shipped in the correct order as listed on the buylist
- Inadequate packaging that results in damage during transit
6. Payment Terms and Methods
6.1 Accepted Payment Methods
Vivid Imagination Cards and Collectibles accepts payment via PayPal only. Payment must be provided in US Dollars unless otherwise specified in advance.
6.2 Payment Timeline
Upon approval of your submission and final evaluation, payment will be processed within 48 hours of processing. Payment is transferred to the PayPal account associated with your submission. Processing time does not include weekends or recognized holidays.
6.3 Payment Disputes
If you do not receive payment within 48 hours of being notified that your submission has been approved and processed, please contact us immediately at vividimaginationcards@gmail.com with your submission details.
7. Liability and Damage
7.1 In Transit Responsibility
While we handle all cards with care, Vivid Imagination Cards and Collectibles is not responsible for damage that occurs during shipping to our facility. We recommend using tracked shipping with insurance for valuable submissions. Ensure your cards are properly packaged according to Section 2.2 to minimize transit damage.
7.2 Condition Discrepancies
If cards arrive in significantly different condition than described or photographed, we reserve the right to reject the submission and return all cards at no cost. If cards show signs of damage from improper packaging, you accept responsibility for that damage.
8. User Responsibilities
By submitting cards to our buylist service, you represent and warrant that:
- You are the rightful owner of all cards submitted
- All cards are authentic and unaltered
- You have accurately described the condition of each card to the best of your knowledge
- You are authorized to sell the submitted cards
- The cards do not infringe upon any third-party intellectual property rights
9. Privacy and Information Protection
Vivid Imagination Cards and Collectibles respects your privacy. Any personal information collected during the buylist submission process will be used solely for the purpose of completing your transaction and will not be shared with third parties without your consent, except as required by law.
10. Dispute Resolution
In the event of any dispute regarding your buylist submission, evaluation, pricing, or payment, please contact us at vividimaginationcards@gmail.com with detailed information about your submission and the nature of your dispute. We will make reasonable efforts to resolve disputes within 14 business days of receiving your inquiry.
11. Modification of Terms
Vivid Imagination Cards and Collectibles reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes become effective immediately upon posting to our website or communication to users. Continued use of our buylist service following modifications constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms and Conditions.
12. Limitation of Liability
Vivid Imagination Cards and Collectibles shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of our buylist service, including but not limited to lost profits, lost data, or lost opportunities, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between you and Vivid Imagination Cards and Collectibles regarding the buylist service and supersede all prior negotiations, representations, and agreements, whether written or oral, relating to the subject matter hereof.
Acknowledgment
By submitting cards to the Vivid Imagination Cards and Collectibles buylist service, you acknowledge that you have read these Terms and Conditions in their entirety, understand all provisions, and agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not submit cards to our buylist service.
